The complete range of services that RMC Constructors provides encompasses the entire project from site analysis to final occupancy and follow-up maintenance. Our services begin during the pre-construction process to include due diligence, entitlement processing, architectural review, and selection, design control, and budget interface. Service then continues through the construction management and post-construction process.

Pre-Construction Services


A project is only as good as the foundation it is built on. RMC understands that careful planning and communication is a thoughtful balance. One of the biggest obstacles with transitioning a project from concept to construction are runaway expenditures. RMC's disciplined and comprehensive approach streamlines this transition while utilizing industry advancing technology. We manage the budget development process, provide cost and method alternatives, as well as monitor the availability and compatibility of all systems.

The essence of the negotiated project is that RMC will accept the responsibility of project costs and scheduling restraints substantially before all risks are defined. From preconstruction to completion, RMC treats each phase with the same enthusiasm and knowledge that has earned our industry-leading reputation.

We classify the two main services offered during the Pre-Construction Phase as the Project Development Services and Design-Build Services.

Construction


Every project has a beginning. Once the project reaches the stage where construction is about to commence, RMC Constructors has a set of initial procedures that are followed to eliminate any unforeseen events that could cause delays.

We meet with local municipality officials to establish code-compliant inspection schedules and determine if we must implement special procedures to meet deadlines.

RMC understands that new construction always has an impact on the community.

To mitigate any potential concerns, RMC will analyze and discuss the impact of the project with neighboring commercial or residential communities. Assembling town hall venues have been successful in the past to ensure understanding and excitement of moving forward as a community.

RMC additionally conducts a Pre-Construction Conference with all subcontractors and vendors to orient all team members with the project's schedule and goals.

During the course of construction there are a number of procedures that RMC deem mandatory regardless of the scope or type of build. The schedule and adherence to these procedures are established during the pre-construction phase and monitored and enforced by RMC during the construction phase.

LEED


Once a concept, green building is now an industry expectation. Recognizing that sustainability and eco-diversity were key for future generations, RMC has always been environmentally committed. We incorporate efficient use of resources, waste management, along with environmental and human health.

According to the U.S. Green Building Council, “The environmental impact of the building design, construction, and operations is significant. Buildings annually consume more than 30% of the total energy and more than 60% of the electricity used in the U.S.” RMC’s expectation is always to exceed the U.S. Green Building Council’s standards for recycling.

Our team of LEED Accredited Professionals is committed to staying ahead of technology, latest concepts, leading procedures, equipment development, and industry advancements in support of the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED program.

Safety


Safety doesn’t happen by accident. At RMC, safety is our first priority. We are committed to providing safe and healthy working conditions for all employees and subcontractors by continually serving as safety champions and demonstrating positive safety culture principles on a daily basis. RMC strives to continually improve and identify risk while creating and enforcing programs to reduce that risk whether through a best practice, new guideline, or policy. The result is a successful track record of bridging the company’s safety standards, with the reality of on-site project operations further supporting and driving the message to all level of field and project staff.

All RMC project managers and job safety officers are certified in First Aid and CPR. It is our goal to have all employees certified in both. All first aid kits are stocked and accessible at all times during the course of construction. RMC utilizes an outside service company to maintain all first aid kits to comply with specific project requirements.
